No, the title is not a typo. Kathy Hall (aka Overcomer) has a cute post that you can read about here. But looking past the cuteness in interacting with her granddaughter about the end times, she brings out an important truth that I have attempted to convey here multiple times. Perhaps the simplicity of her approach is what makes her post a bit superior. If you want to explain something, try explaining it to a child. If your views are so complicated that only the intellectually elite can make head or tail of what you’re saying, you just might be on the wrong track.
The truth that she brings out is that the entire gospel of Matthew contains teachings of Jesus which He commanded the disciples to teach to all nations. There is no way to separate one portion of the gospel as being inapplicable to the church, such as the Olivet Discourse for instance. When Jesus taught the disciples about His coming, He did it quite simply. He told them in order exactly what would happen. Some try to make it more complicated and see two different second comings when He was clearly talking about the same event throughout the entire discourse. A child can see through this convolution.
I hope you enjoy her post as much as I did.
